The subdivision, Las Villas del Rio on Shary, sits on 20 acres within the city limits of McAllen. Development for this project started in October 2017. Las Villas del Rio on Shary will be an architecturally-controlled neighborhood with a community area and pool offering 80 residential lots. It will be a gated subdivision for single-family homes within the Sharyland Independent School District.
